Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This weeping Acer makes a strong architectural statement as well as providing stunning foliage colour that transitions through the seasons. Elegant branches adorned with fine, deeply dissected foliage, cascade gracefully from a strong, straight stem. The palmate leaves emerge coppery-pink in spring on orange/red stems. The foliage matures to fresh green in summer and finishes the season with fiery shades of red and orange in autumn before falling. Acer palmatum ‘Cascade Emerald’ makes a stunning focal feature in a large container or planted in borders. Height 1.5m -3m (5-10ft). Spread 1-2.5m (3-8.2ft).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow Acers in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It's important to give plants shelter from strong winds which can scorch the leaves.
Water regularly throughout the growing season until acer trees are well established. Protect plants from strong winds. Acers require little pruning other than to maintain their shape. Lightly trim stems if necessary from late autumn to midwinter.
