Acers are slow growing and make ideal specimens for small gardens and containers where they provide multiple seasons of interest. Their refined palmate foliage and graceful form add beautiful texture and structure to gardens, remaining captivating even in winter as the elegant tracery of bare branches emerges. They are perfect for creating a tranquil Japanese garden vibe in even the smallest urban spaces. Height: 2m (6.5ft). Spread: 1.5m (4.9ft).

Acer ‘Festival’ contains the following three varieties all growing in one pot:

Acer ‘Atropurpureum' - Bronze-crimson foliage that turns brilliant red in autumn.
Acer ‘Going Green’ - Green foliage in spring turns orange and red in the autumn.
Acer ‘Orange Dream’ - Yellow foliage in spring transitions to green in the summer before developing flaming orange-yellow shades in autumn.

Grow Acers in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It's important to give plants shelter from strong winds which can scorch the leaves.

Water regularly throughout the growing season until acer trees are well established. Protect plants from strong winds. Acers require little pruning other than to maintain their shape. Lightly trim stems if necessary from late autumn to midwinter.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
