From midsummer to autumn it produces eye-catching purple flower spikes and the whole plant has a delicious liquorice scent. It associates well with swaying grasses such as Pennisetum. The aniseed-flavoured flowers are edible and can be used for cake decorations. Height: 80cm (31"). Spread: 45cm (18").
