Quite spectacular in autumn! Heavy crops of glowing, golden fruits fill the branches of this attractive, deciduous tree. Malus 'Butterball' is a compact, small tree with an attractive spreading habit, making an unmissable focal point in the garden. The dark green foliage takes turns to orange and gold in autumn, providing a colourful backdrop for its ripening fruits.It is equally attractive in spring when the branches are decorated with pretty, pink-flushed buds that open to white blossom.
