Dazzling white petals with a flush of violet at the centre of each bloom create a mesmerising display with their windswept appearance. The blooms of Cyclamen coum subsp. coum f. pallidum 'Album' rise on red stems above a carpet of silver-marbled foliage. This tough little tuber braces itself against the coldest weather, emerging in January and February alongside Snowdrops, Aconites and Crocus. Perfect for illuminating the gloom beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, or dotting throughout rockeries! Height: 10cm (4”). Spread: 15cm (6”).

Grow Cyclamen in a well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter, in partial or dappled shade. Work some organic matter such as well-rotted manure or compost into the soil prior to planting. Cyclamen grow best in the dappled shade of trees and shrubs, which helps avoid excessive summer moisture. When planting Cyclamen make sure the rough side of the tuber with the old stems and roots protruding is facing up and the smoother, rounded side is facing down. Plant the corms at a depth of just 3cm (1").
Allow the foliage to die back naturally as this will help to feed the tubers for the following year. Mulch Cyclamen tubers with leaf mould to protect them from hard frosts. Where Cyclamen are grown under deciduous trees, simply leave a covering of fallen leaves over the top of the tubers. Caution: harmful if eaten.
