Description How to Grow Delivery

This kit contains everything you need to create a beautiful floating display for your pond. Floating Pond Kit includes a square floating planter, 3 wildlife-friendly pond plants, pond soil and gravel. The floating planter has a hook in each corner enabling a number of planters to be ‘locked together’ for a larger display if required. This floating display will provide colour and interest, a hiding place for fish, and a habitat and food source for a myriad of pond creatures.

Floating Pond Kit includes:

3 bare root marginal pond plants:

Pontederia - Heart-shaped leaves and terminal spikes of blue flowers from July to September. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Acorus - Perennial with grass-like arching foliage. Height and spread: 40cm (15in).

Flag Iris - Clumps of sword-like foliage gives rise to tall stems supporting bright yellow blooms in early summer. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 30cm (12").

For planting, follow packet instructions. The perennials in this collection will need dividing and repotting each spring to maintain their vigour.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.
