Pot up Goji plants and grow them on until large enough to plant outside in their final positions. Plants will need repotting into successively larger pots as they increase in size. Although hardy, we recommend that your Goji berries are given winter protection during their first year.
In their second year, Goji berries can be planted outdoors during spring or autumn. Choose a sunny position in well drained soil. Goji berries are surprisingly drought tolerant so they will thrive in poor soils. Shrubs will begin to bear their nutritious fruit in autumn from the second year.
