Tough and resilient, they thrive in shade on almost any soil, making ideal ground cover or a must-have addition to a woodland or wildlife garden. Lamium maculatum ‘Beacon Silver’ is a stunning variety forming a shimmering carpet of silver foliage with toothed green margins. From April until midsummer, the clusters of bright purple-pink flowers provide a rich supply of nectar for pollinating insects. Provided it is watered until established, this attractive dead nettle is a great plant for tricky spots in dry shade. And don't worry, it doesn't sting! Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant Lamium in semi or dappled shade. Dead Nettles prefer a well drained, moist, fertile soil, but can cope well in drier soils once established. On drier soils, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting and choose a shaded position.Water Lamium plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Dead Nettle in spring to maintain their vigour.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
