Lonicera nitida 'Garden Clouds Trio'

This popular garden hedging staple has been given a new lease of life with the Lonicera ‘Garden Clouds’ series, providing an excellent, disease-free alternative to box hedges and topiary. Lonicera nitida 'Garden Clouds Trio' contains three varied foliage colours, providing evergreen colour and structure. 

Unlike ordinary Lonicera nitidia, Lonicera ‘Garden Clouds’ series naturally forms ball shapes, making it a superb for topiary and low hedging. These bushy, evergreen shrubs are disease-free, will grow in sun or shade and tolerate all soil types providing they are well-drained. They happily cope with regular clipping into architectural shapes such as globes and cones. Height in 3 years: 90cm (3ft). Spread: 60cm (2ft). Regular clipping will keep plants small.

• Lonicera nitida 'Garden Clouds Copper Glow' - green foliage with copper-coloured new shoots
• Lonicera nitida 'Garden Clouds Purple Storm' - dark green foliage with dark purple new shoots.
