These cheeky looking monkeys never fail to raise a smile! Mimulus or Monkey Flower is a tropical perennial, grown as an annual, forming low, spreading mounds that are perfect for adding to containers or planting along the edge of a tropical-themed border. The unusual two-lipped flowers come in a dazzling range of exotic colours splashed with playful spots and blotches. Like other tender perennial bedding, they boast a very long flowering display, and are smothered in flowers from May to September. These versatile plants will grow in sun or shade and make a whimsical addition to bedding displays that always grabs attention. Height and spread: 30cm (12in).

Plant Mimulus in fertile, well drained soil that remains reliably moist throughout summer. Choose a position in dappled shade, or a sunny spot with some protection from direct sun during the hottest part of the day.

Water mimulus plants regularly to ensure that the soil does not dry out. Deadhead faded mimulus flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
