A new, delightful, purple-lilac coloured variety, Tulip ‘Carre’ will inject some subtle colouring to a spring border that is usually awash with bright yellows and oranges! Plant them in patio containers or in drifts amongst other varieties. You can even cut some to bring indoors too. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 20cm (8")

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Tulip bulbs should be planted in late autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 3 times their height. Make sure that they are planted deep enough - shallow planting may prevent the bulbs receiving the necessary winter cold period that is essential for them to produce flowers in spring. Choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil.

After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in June/ July.
