Carex ‘Frosted Curls’ forms low hummocks composed of fine, hair-like leaves, curled at their ends. The silvery green leaves cascade over border edges, pathways and pots providing all-year-round foliage interest to borders and winter containers. Ideal for low-maintenance groundcover in sun or partial shade. Height and Spread: 40cm (14in).

Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants, use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture.

Carex are very easy to maintain; simply comb our any dead and browning foliage during the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Sedge in Spring.
