Evergreen, easy-care and thriving in sun or partial shade – few plants can compete with the versatility of Carex ‘Falls Trio’. These variegated Japanese sedges are perfect for softening the edge of a border or planted as ground cover in difficult shady areas - adding texture and movement to planting schemes all year round. They also offer a contemporary look to containers and hanging baskets, their evergreen foliage cascading gracefully over the side of pots and adding interest to both summer and winter bedding displays. These reliable evergreen perennials offer year-round appeal whilst demanding little attention.

Carex ‘Falls Trio’ comprises the following varieties:

Carex ‘Feather Falls’ – Green foliage striped with white margins. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").
Carex ‘Moon Falls’ - Creamy-white foliage accented with green margins.
Carex ‘Ribbon Falls’ – Emerald green leaves that curl at the tips.

Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants.

Carex are very easy to maintain; simply comb our any dead and browning foliage during the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Sedge in Spring.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
