Carex ‘Ribbon Falls’ is distinguished by its graceful, cascading habit with ribbon-like foliage that curls at the tips. Long, glossy leaves that are rich emerald green. A superb choice for tumbling from patio pots, hanging baskets or rockeries. Good ground cover for shady areas. Height and spread: 30-45cm (12-18in).

Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants. Use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture when planting into pots.

Carex are very easy to maintain; simply comb out any dead and browning foliage during the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Sedge in Spring.
