Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This hybrid Choisya has all the excellent characteristics of Choisya ternata but with more compact proportions to suit smaller gardens. With a denser habit and more slender, tapered foliage, Choisya ‘Greenfingers’ has a neater silhouette than other varieties. From spring to early summer, pink buds open to white flowers with a pink blush. The sweetly scented flowers will often have a second flush in autumn. This robust and versatile shrub is resistant to wind, pollution and coastal spray, and is an ideal choice for all-year round interest in small urban gardens and on patios. Height: 120cm (47in). Spread: 60cm (24in).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant Mexican Orange Blossom in any well drained soil in full sun, with shelter from strong winds. Partial shade is tolerated but foliage will be less golden in this situation. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
Water regularly throughout the growing season until Choisya plants are well established. Mexican Orange Blossom requires little attention, but benefits from a trim each year to keep it neat and tidy. After flowering, trim or lightly cut back shoots to a healthy pair of buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant in spring.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
