Crab Apple 'Evereste'

As the winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit, it's not difficult to see why this tree was so worthy of such an award. Its compact, broadly conical, tidy crown displays more-or-less lobed leaves with pink buds opening white in spring. The deciduous foliage of Malus 'Evereste' emerges green in spring, turning orange and yellow in autumn. Masses of orange and red blushed apples follow, lasting well into winter. Height: 7m (23').
