Guaranteed to brighten up the garden in early spring, these botanical crocus are perfect for planting in broad swathes through grass where they will create jewel-like carpets of colour, bulking up each year to deliver ever more impressive displays. They can also be dotted through borders, in rockeries, troughs and containers or planted in groups beneath trees and shrubs. Height: 10cm (4”). Spread: 5cm (2”).

Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4") and at a distance of 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass.

Allow the strap like foliage to die back naturally after flowering. Avoid mowing areas of grass where crocus are naturalised until they have completely died back.
