Create a frothy white haze along the edges of paths and borders or in walls and rockeries with this charming creeping gypsophila. Masses of dainty white flowers give a stunning cloud-like effect all summer long, hovering above a mat of small, fine, blue-tinged semi-evergreen leaves. A versatile hardy perennial, Gypsophila repens ‘White’ thrives in any sunny, free-draining site, and makes a great filler for container displays. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread 50cm (20in).

Grow Gypsophila plants in any well-drained, non-acidic soil. Avoid soils that sit wet over winter. Choose a position in full sun.

Gypsophila plants require very little maintenance. Cut back after flowering to encourage more flowers to be produced.
