This vigorous Ivy will quickly scale walls and fences to create an evergreen patchwork of attractive, lobed foliage. Dark green and silvery grey leaves, are each edged with irregular, bright cream margins. Hedera helix 'Glacier' is an adaptable climber using its own ariel roots to cling to surfaces, without the need for extra support. Although fast growing, this hardy climber has a tidy habit making an excellent background plant for flowering shrubs and perennials. Height: 2.5m (98"). Spread: 1m (39").

Grow Ivy in any moist, well drained garden soil in a sheltered position, in full sun or partial shade. Ivy will perform especially well on alkaline soils, although plants are also tolerant of a wide range of different soil conditions.

Prune your Ivy plants to fit the space available. Plants can be trimmed at any time, although spring is the best time for renovation pruning, before the new growth starts. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.
