The fiery foliage of Heuchera ‘Eternal Flame’ provides vivid interest throughout the season. Golden yellow foliage, patterned with deep red veining, flushes with rich orange. Sprays of small, bell-shaped pink flowers appear in summer. Heuchera ‘Eternal Flame’ performs its best colour in partial shade where it is perfect for lighting up dull spots. Forming neat domes of semi-evergreen foliage, Heuchera ‘Eternal Flame’ works beautifully as an edging plant, weed-suppressing groundcover or foliage interest in container arrangements. Height: 25cm (10in). Spread: 40cm (18in).

Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi shade.

Feed and water coral flower plants regularly until they are fully established.Apply a mulch of well rotted manure around the crown of each plant each spring. Lift and divide clumps of heuchera plants every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
