Hybrid Tea/Bush Rose

A recent introduction by the renowned German rose breeders, Noack, Rose 'Home Florist Timeless Pink' has the classic looks of a cottage garden rose but with all the advantages of modern breeding.

The perfectly formed, fully-double blooms come in a light pink and have a strong, fruity fragrance. Repeat flowering, ‘Timeless Pink’ will keep rewarding you with flowers all summer long. Bred with the home florist in mind, the blooms have a long vase life and the perfumed petals are ideal for pot-pourri. Boasting exceptional health, ‘Timeless Pink’ has been recognised with an RHS Award of Garden Merit. With a compact habit, it is ideal for growing in containers on the patio where you can enjoy its intoxicating fragrance up close. It works equally well in borders, making a harmonious colour combination with the other roses in the 'Timeless' series. Height: 1m (39in). Spread: 90cm (35in).

1 Bare Root Plant (KA8052)

These plants are lifted from the nursery field when dormant, and sent to you in late autumn or spring for planting. They often look dead on arrival, but they are just resting in the dormant period and will establish quickly for a strong start in the garden come spring. Set out in prepared soil in holes wide enough and deep enough to lay out the roots. Tread down the planting soil to knock out air pockets. Water well to settle. Apply a mulch to protect roots from cold temperatures. If conditions prevent immediate planting, set roughly into loose soil or a pot of compost (‘heeling in’) to protect the roots. Set these at the same level as they were in the nursery field – you should see a soil line at the base of the stem. Stake trees, taller shrubs and roses to prevent root disturbance.
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In winter, begin pruning hybrid tea roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems to 20cm (10”) above ground level. Side shoots should be reduced to two buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
