The exquisite detailing on these pansy faces is utterly charming – each one looks as though it has been individually painted in subtle shades of light maroon, peach, pink and yellow. Viola ‘Sorbet Peach Melba’ has a neat, uniform habit and is perfect for all types of containers or drift them prettily along border edges and through rock gardens. They associate beautifully with small spring bulbs to create a dainty, jewel-like display. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 25cm (10in).

Culinary note - Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too.

Gradually acclimatise garden ready pansy plants to outdoor conditions before planting them in any well drained soil, in sun or semi shade.

Feed and water frequently, but take care not to overwater in winter as this can cause root damage should the compost freeze. Deadhead faded pansy flowers before they set seed to prolong the flowering period.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.
