Cacti are famed for their drought tolerance and low maintenance, making them superb houseplants for sunny windowsills! Our prickly mixture of cacti comes in a diverse range of shapes and species, each with their own unique, spiky appearance. From time to time, when conditions are favourable, you may even be rewarded with a colourful display of exotic looking cactus flowers!

When you add this product to your basket, we will carefully select the plants from the mix currently available. Our Cactus mix includes so many species that we are unable to specify which ones you will receive – but rest assured, you won’t be disappointed!

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

Grow cacti in full light with some shelter from the hottest sun. An average temperature of 10- 23C (50-75F) is ideal. Many Cacti can tolerate lower temperatures down to a minimum of 5C (40F).

Cactus plants are slow growing so patience is required. In summer, water cacti regularly with soft water or rain water. Allow the compost to dry out slightly between watering. Avoid leaving Cacti in standing water as this will cause them to rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. In winter, while the plant is dormant, gradually reduce watering and allow the compost to remain dry.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.
