Buddleja make easy and fast-growing shrubs which produce dense displays of conical flowers in late summer to autumn that are irresistible to butterflies. Once established they are tough plants which will thrive in poor soils provided they are given sun. Many can grow too large for smaller gardens but the Butterfly Candy Collection of Buddlejas are especially dwarf and compact, reaching only around 80cm in height so they are perfect for small spaces or even containers. Height and Spread: 80cm (31”).

Buddleja ‘Butterfly Candy Collection’ comprises 4 x 9cm potted plants, one of each of the following varieties:

Buddleja ‘Butterfly Candy Little Lila’ - lilac flowers.
Buddleja ‘Butterfly Candy Little Purple’ - deep purple flowers.
Buddleja ‘Butterfly Candy Little Ruby’ - deep red flowers, a colour which is exceptional for buddlejas and which contrast beautifully with the grey foliage.
Buddleja ‘Butterfly Candy Little White’ - pure white flowers.

Grow buddleja in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade. Alternatively grow buddleja plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.

Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Buddleja planted directly into borders will require only occasional attention. In spring, prune buddleja plants back to a permanent low framework of 3 or 4 buds from the base of the plant. Deadhead faded buddleja flowers to prolong the flowering season.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
