A very popular hardy fuchsia with an abundance of large, single, pendent flowers with vivid scarlet sepals and rich purple corollas. Fuchsia 'Mrs Popple' is a fast growing, low maintenance shrub that rewards with months of colour from early summer to the first frosts. It is perfect for enhancing partially shaded areas, either as a specimen shrub or informal hedging choice. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Ultimate height and spread: 1m (3.2ft).

Plant fuchsias into light, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. When growing in containers, use a quality, well drained compost such as John Innes No.3. Pinch out the growing tips of your fuchsia plants once, to promote bushier growth and more flowers.

Feed and water plants regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced
