The extravagant blooms of Fuchsia 'Snowcap' are produced in succession throughout the summer, giving a garden performance rightly awarded an RHS AGM. Their frilly white petticoats contrast beautifully with scarlet outer sepals. A hardy and bushy deciduous shrub, 'Snowcap' has a neat compact habit that is well suited to borders and patio containers. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Grow hardy fuchsias in containers or borders, in any moist, well drained soil. Position in a sunny or semi shaded site which is protected from cold winds over winter.

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, a bark or compost mulch applied to the base of fuchsia plants will help to protect hardy fuchsias from winter cold.
